我是一名中国人,黄种人,出生在中国北京,我的家庭包括我的父母和我。中国是一个有几千年历史的国家,在这里诞生了一些伟大的教育家,其中孔子是最有名的一位。我的父母受到孔子的教育思想的影响很大,因此他们从小利用孔子的思想对我进行教育。
Final Reflection
建立和加强家庭,学校,社会之间的关系能够对孩子产生更多积极的影响,有利于解决孩子在多元化国家面临的挑战。
基于此,我要全面提高社交能力,与学生,家长和其他社区相关人员保持积极的互动关系,鼓励家长参与、支持儿童教育,促进儿童及其家长共同成长。我会把自己视为儿童和家长的朋友,尊重家庭的文化,理解不同家庭的所面临的困境和挑战。

I am Chinese, yellow, I was born in Beijing, China. There are three persons in my family, my parents and I. China is a country with a history of several thousand years and many great educators were born here, Confucius was one of the most famous educationists. My parents are affected by Confucian educational thought greatly, thus they took advantage of Confucius thought in cultivating me during my childhood education. For example, I was required to work hard, respect teachers and be diligent in thinking. I am very grateful to my parents for their education, with their help, I performed excellently in my primary school and other phases of my study later, so that I now have the opportunity to pursue a master's program of primary education in the U.S. I accepted a traditional Chinese-style education in China, The idea that I accepted about learning was working hard to get good academic records, so as to get a good job in the future. In China, teacher is the authority in teaching, I made efforts to accept the knowledge and learning methods that teachers taught, as by doing so could helps me to get good grades. At the stage of finishing my undergraduate degree of elementary education in China, I aimed to be a teacher, I also believed that a teacher's role is to help students to get good grades, so that students will be more competitive in competing with others. However, when I came to the U.S. to study for a master's degree, my beliefs and value systems have changed. Now, I think that the responsibility of teachers is not just to enable students to get good grades, but help students to gain a comprehensive development in personality, ability, morality, creative thinking and other aspects, so as to help students to better meet the demands of future development of a society. In addition, I also change what I thought in the past that teachers should play a leading role in learning process, I think that teachers should become partners of students, through inspiration, guidance and other ways to promote students' active learning, teachers should exchange more with students, listening to them and encouraging them to put forward innovative ideas.

Final Reflection

Building and strengthening relationships between family, school and community will have more positive impact on children, so as to resolve the challenging issues facing children in the increasingly diverse country (Barbour, Barbour and Scully, 2010). Thus I should comprehensively improve my social skills to maintain a positive interaction with children, parents and other community personnel, I will encourage parents to participate in and support childhood education to promote children and their parents to grow up together. I will make myself the friend of children’s and their parents’, respecting their family cultures and understanding difficulties, challenges faced by different families; I will not make any negative reviews on their home environment but warmly invite all parents and children to participate in class activities together. I can take advantage of a variety of community resources to expand education for children. For example, I can make museum, science hall, odeum the classroom for teaching history, science and art. I can invite community personnel to participate in teaching and management of school as volunteers, making them better understand and support the school's teaching.
