There exists an interesting thing that Human Resources departments are not like what people from other departments think. Instead of where paper work comes from and where cultivate happy clappy stuff, it is actually a place where the budgets will be first shorten when economic crisis happens. In order to know deeply about Human Resources departments, the article raise a good methods to take consideration in the position of HR consultancy and point out some ideas that will be useful for managing, such as brand, product and service offering, finance, etc.

I think this article gives me new understanding of HR department. I used to think that HR means making phone call to applicants and having several interviews a day, but now, I totally change my mind. If you want to be a good consultancy, you still have to gain a clear strategy to improve your work. Brand, a word I always relate to products or services, appears in HR consulting practice. With an HR brand and clear mission of department, they can better serve for their work. The core of HR in my mind listed in this article is delivery.  HR stuff have the responsibility to create reward systems which will reflect employees’ achievements. Through this method, employees will be encouraged a lot and pays more attention to their work.

读完这篇文章，我也有了一些新的想法。我从来没有想过人力资源部门会对整个公司的运营产生如此大的影响，而现在我知道人力资源与人才招聘、人才培训和客户需求有着密切的关系。如果人力资源部的员工没有能力选择优秀的人才并把他们放在正确的位置上，那么效率就会受到影响。人们会进入社会，如果我们能更好地了解这一点，它也将有利于我们的事业。
After reading this article, I also gain some new idea. I never thought HR department will have such a big effect on the running of the whole company, while now, I know that HR has a tight relationship with talents recruitment, stuff training and clients needs. If people from HR department don’t have the ability to select talented people and put them into the right position, then the efficiency will be influenced. People will get into society, if we can know this better, it will also benefit our career.
