The discrepancy in Chinese education and Britain education
Education is an important and forever topic. Different country has different aspects between Britain Education and Chinese Education.
What about Britain’s Primary Education? It is for children between the ages of 4 or 5 and 11 or 13. There is a rule in Britain that all the children who are 5 years old should go to school. There are two kinds of schools: state primary schools or independent school. The former is free, but the latter is charged.
Primary Education in Britain is focus on the individual development for children. Pupils don’t have the fixed seats. Teachers usually spend 20 minutes inculcating knowledge. Students learn by themselves in the other time. As a result, student has more time to consult with teachers and become more active.
As Chinese, we are familiar with it. It is for children between the age of 6 and 14. It is a duty for parents to let their children go to school. You can go to public schools with no charge. Also you can go to independent schools. But it is more expensive.
Chinese primary education is mainly pay attention to students’ basic knowledge. Teacher instills knowledge into students’ mind as more as they can. It forces children to spend more time doing their homework. To Chinese students, scores is the most important factor.
From the discrepancy we know that Chinese students have to work harder than Britain students. And Chinese teacher talk more in the class. As a result, Chinese students usually don’t have much free time to do other things which they are interested in.
