1.  Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a tool that has been employed by many well-known organisations.

(a)  Apply the QFD model to a product with which you are familiar.     [70%]

(b)  Reflecting on your own application of the QFD model, comment on the utility of the model and highlight the problems that you encountered in its application.     [30%]

Word Limit: minimum 2,500 - maximum 3,500 words for the whole assignment.

Pages should be clearly numbered;

Complete an AGC form and attach it to your answer;

Retain a photocopy of your answer;

Obtain a receipt for your assignment when you hand it in.
