Each student will write a 9-11 page research paper on a topic of your choice pertaining to organizational behavior. The following is a suggested approach to your research paper:
Select an organization that you are familiar with or would like to become familiar with. Identify 2-3 organizational behavior issues or areas of concern facing this organization. How is the organization currently handling these issues? What kind of impact this approach is having on organization strategy or members of the organization. Are there alternative approaches to these organizational behavior practices? Utilize theories, concepts, and principles presented in your texts to frame the issues and recommendations. The paper should be organized: (1) Description – provide an introduction to the paper and description of the organizational behavior issues/challenges facing the organization/industry; (2) Diagnosis – apply the theories and research findings to your topic areas to analyze the issue; (3) Recommendations – discussion of what alternatives the organization should take to address the problems/issues.
The paper must incorporate at least 10 outside sources relevant to your topics http://www.ukassignment.org/ and issues. At least 50% of the articles must come from academic and research-based journals; Please integrate all issues in your topic areas using an applicable theoretical framework discussed in the course text. The paper should be typed, double-spaced with 1inch margins. Utilize headings and subheadings throughout the paper. A bibliography page should be attached to the paper using APA format. Additional materials/documents used in the analysis or referred to in the paper should be placed in an appendix at the end of the paper. The paper is due no later than our final class period.
