Comparing with other majors, there’s no better major than electronic science and technology to me. One of the leading research universities in Europe, Royal Institute of Technology enjoyed a time-honored academic tradition. Its master program trains students to be a scholar while instilling the professional skills. And its master program in the embedded system-on-chip specialization, The major describes the problem of designing, assembling, dimensioning and verifying complete multi-core SoCs including the embedded software, which covers the details of the digital design flow, the verification of SoCs, FPGAs and the hardware dependent software layers. Besides, there are a lot of practice opportunities such as degree project and team project. That is exactly what I want –professional skills and advanced theoretical knowledge. By learning the program in your university, I would develop a keen insight into the integrate circuit problems in real life and come up with sound solutions.

The electronic knowledge has been my biggest interest since childhood.  Therefore, I chose electronic science and technology as my major in SouthEast University. The four years of study in university prepared me with abundant theoretical knowledge and research methodology. But I still feel it is not enough to me basing on the undergraduate knowledge of electronic science. On the other hand, my internship experience has taught me that the current knowledge on the integrated circuit is not enough to reach the research summit. Although I have mastered the design method, some in-depth principles are still puzzled to me. If my current knowledge can be strengthened further, the design method would be optimized. It is also a reason for me to apply for the master program in KTH.
