I agree that to truly enjoy vacation, people are supposed to leave their mobile phones at home. It can also be very dangerous to use mobile phone when you are doing some outdoor sports as holiday project, for example, it would be risky to use telephone when you are doing hiking ona steep mountain, you may probably fall down from the mountain as you are not aware of the risks due to your over-attention on your cell phone. It is hard to imagine how you can enjoy your holiday if it ends up with a tragedy.
In addition, given the fact that people feel lazy to get plan done when they can always refer to their cell phone for the internet, dropping mobile phone at home will also push people to get everything prepared before they leave for holidays. Otherwise, people have to spend time planning the trip during the vacation, and have less opportunity and time to enjoy what they are supposed to, for example, if they knew where to find the best pasta restaurant in Florence, they can just go straight forward to the restaurant and enjoy pasta as soon as possible, and save time for visiting historical sites in Florence, instead of wasting holiday time to check the location of the restaurant and hesitating on transportation.
In conclusion, I think the holiday will be more enjoyable and thrilling if people can be bold enough to drop their cellphones at home, as in this way they can enjoy their holidays more substantially compared to spending holidays with their cell phones.
