Stock will be order to supplier when the stock reaches its reorder level. Our site saves all of the supplier’s detail information for order. Suppliers contain one of our vital role of our Amazing book shop without them, we cannot run the whole book shop. When the stock needs to order, our site admin will check the required stock and choose supplier who can give our request books and make order.

When items have been order they have to deliver to destination. There are methods for delivering that used many online service companies. Once the items are delivering, it has to record the item dispatch. There are some methods for recording items dispatched. Dispatched items can be mark in computer database and by manual stock book or use some software to mark dispatched items. Computer database method is just save when the items are dispatched, who bought what items, day and date of the started dispatched, the destination of each items, expected receive date, actual receive date and name who is responsible for that processing. Both of data saved in Computer database or stock book are the same. They just differ by Computer and manual.

Online shop would be process daily. So the items reach its reorder level frequently. Recent year it used manually for check up the stock and when they need to reorder it make reorder to suppliers. But today, technologies are so modernized that most shop used some software to tell reorder level. And so far, vendor can be use automatic reorder level like Automatic order Algorithm (AOA), Auto generates order and flexible reorder calculation or Automatic Reordering. That software helps vendor to make auto reorder when it reaches the limit of reorder.
There is some method that helps vendor about reorder level.
Fixed reorder stock level (reorder stock before its reaches lowest level of stock that can stand)

Use barcode and RFID tag for recording new stock items in Amazing book shop. One box of book has a barcode and 10 boxes of book have one RFID tag. Each book is recorded by ISBN number. By the use of them, our stock cannot be double and more accurate.

Customers would be order when they want books form our Amazing book shop. For customer it is very easy to make order. Once they check the books form our website, they can add the items to basket and just buy them. Non-member customer can be e-mail to our website and order the products. For buying, customer who already registered to our book shop can get discount or some services. Both of member customer or outsider customer may or may not be have bank account or they may do not want to give their bank account because they are afraid of phishers. For customers, who already give bank account to our site, we transfer the money as they make purchase. And as soon we got the money, we deliver the products to customers. If the request items are not in our website, we told customers that, when those book would be available.
Order to supplier can be made according to reorder level and decision of manager. Once they decided to order to supplier, choose the required book required supplier’s list. Then visit to the supplier’s site and Click the items which we want to buy with Amazing book shop id and password.

Star

In our amazing book shop, I would like to use Star topology with Fiber optic cable using in local area network. By using star topology, it achieves an isolation of each device in the network. As star topology is control by centralized network, so it can be more easy control to workstation computer. Using star topology it can easy to install to use and it also easy to detect and remove parts and transmitted data will not pass to unnecessary part. For fiber optic cable it can be used widely, can travel data in long distance, rate of speed is much higher than other cable, as it is used light technique it can stand electronic magnetic wave. For the above I chose that type of network for our amazing book shop.

For the stock control of our website, we save all of our data in our sever computer. If the customer buy products from our website, stock form server computer will reduce and auto update. All of the records are control by server using above topology. The server computer will update the stock in stock out system.

For delivering the products, there are 3 ways.

Online shop does not have many staffs. So they cannot use their staff for delivery. By using post office, they have to deliver the parcel to Post office. But it is not a perfect delivery system, as it cannot trace the route of the delivery, so our customers cannot know where their products are, and the site cannot guarantee when the products will be in customer’s hand.
So, some online shop link to the delivery company and that delivery company will sent items to their customer. There are many delivery companies. For these reason, our Amazing Website will be make partnership to the delivery company as third party. The delivery company will be delivering our products to our customers as third party. Although there are many Delivery Company for us to choose, but we did not see as perfect delivery company as TNT. For our Amazing Book shop, we make partnership to TNT Delivery Company. When the customers paid, we contact to the TNT Company and it will come to our company to take parcels and they deliver the products to our customers. So, TNT has 2 way to communicate with our Amazing book shop, first they come to our shop and take products, then they have to sent them to our customers. . If customer wants to know the track of their goods they can log in to our site and look by Invoice ID. So they can know where their products are. For the update of track, the staff the Amazing book shop will check the TNT website and upload them to our site. If the products are lost or damage on the way, it is the responsibility of TNT. TNT must be take action to please our customers.

Our Amazing book shop is an online bookshop. Our shop sells books via Internet. Our stocks are stored in warehouse. For security of our warehouse, we can use people staff or computerized system for stock. There are ways to prevents or reduce those criminals. There may be 2 types of theft, theft who is from outside of the organization or theft who is employee of the company. Both of them can be stole items from warehouse, stole money, can be hack confidential data, customer’s bank account, and information that our competitor required.
The prevention of outsider theft
They are from outside of the organization.
Can be use RFID (Radio Frequency Identification tag), which can give alarm if unauthorized person move it to other location.
That theft may be stealing in groups – some providing a distraction while others take goods. Has to teach staff to be alert and to recognized behavior like that.
After delivering products, make sure all the goods are in securely saved and record them.
Do no leaving boxes in view, because it can attract thieves to steal them.
Make sure stock take is done by regularly.
Can be use video camera system in warehouse and car park.

Stocks from the warehouse are tag by RFID. If the containers deliver books to our warehouse, RFID reader will automatically check the how many books per box. If the books are equal with the invoice that already purchased by Amazing book shop, there will be no problem. But if the deliver books quantity is not equal with the invoice, the store has to make some action. Amazing site store them in one place and tag with not balance stock. There may be human error of supplier mix with other book shop. If like that, our amazing book shop will tell supplier that they sent the wrong stock so, there is no problem. The other risk is that our stock are stole by theft. If our stock are stole by theft, we have to solve the problem. First, we hold the items to hold list and told about that to supplier’s company. Second, we trace the route that our products are delivering. And make sure that our products are stolen or not. If our products are just delay on the way, it is not a problem. If it is true that our products are stolen, then we told the police department that our stocks are stolen. For customer we announced that we are lack of our stock that our supplier’s and we are lost in contact.
