1. “CRM systems offer great advantages in managing customers and identifying micro-segments within the overall customer base” (Jobber and Lancaster, p. 354). 3. An FMCG organisation and a services marketing organisation appear to have different relationships with their customers. However there are key areas which are similar.  What are these areas and what strategies and techniques can usefully be shared between the two types of organisation? Use theory to support your argument and illustrate with examples from real life.

You may not do well in this part unless you participated very well in part one (the group activity). For this second project you will need to draw on research gathered in project one.   This is an individual project analyzing the company and marketing strategies of your company

In order to complete this report you need to:-

Identify one country that the company has entered (as in part one, if applicable, but not a country previously selected – we can check through plagiarism software) and then research and Investigate the following:-
Consider geographical proximity, society, and culture, environmental, political and legal issues that may have had an impact on the company’s decision to operate there and then research:
o Methods of expansion – what are the methods/ strategies the company has used in expanding into the country, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each method/ strategy in terms of cultural implications.#p#分页标题#e#

o Marketing strategies, what are the different strategies that your company has used? Has this company chosen the same marketing approach in both countries or different approach in each? What are the advantages and disadvantages of standardization versus adaption to local markets? How has culture impact on the choice of the marketing strategy?

o What recommendations do you have for the company you are investigating, what are the future prospects and opportunities this company has in the country you have researched? Consider the impact of the macro-environmental factors in your answer to this question.
 
This report should be a maximum of 2,000 words [+/-5%], and should be accompanied by good quality material to illustrate your text. All work should be correctly referenced and there should be a full bibliography.
